This page explains what Rawkology checks, what the source information means, and the limits of a marketplace-sourced catalog.
Source model and disclosure
Rawkology may source a product to order from a disclosed Walmart, Amazon, eBay or Etsy listing. The source marketplace, source seller, dispatch warehouse and last-check date appear on the product page under "Sourcing & dispatch". Sourced stock is received into our Hong Kong warehouse before it ships, so the dispatch origin shown is always that warehouse rather than the source seller’s own location. The underlying marketplace listing URL is kept as an internal record and is available to a customer or reviewer on request to support@rawkology.com. These marketplaces and sellers are not presented as Rawkology warehouses or affiliates.
Counterfeit prevention and brand clarity
We do not knowingly list counterfeit products. Listings with unclear identity, suspicious luxury branding, or unsupported authenticity claims are rejected or paused. An item is described as unbranded when the source says it is unbranded. If the source does not state a brand or maker, we say so. We do not claim official-store or authorized-dealer status without documentary proof.
Images and specification provenance
Product-page images and technical specifications currently come from the linked source listing unless the page says otherwise. Rawkology does not claim those images as original product photography. A source link documents provenance but is not, by itself, a usage licence. Listings that reach Merchant Center therefore carry source-supplied media, and every product page states that fact inline under "Sourcing & dispatch" rather than presenting the photography as our own. We are replacing source media with owned product photography, and a listing is removed if a rights holder objects to the media used. Homepage and banner photography is styling imagery captioned as such; it sets the look of the range and does not represent the exact item offered on any product page.
Availability and price checks
Marketplace availability is a time-stamped snapshot, not a real-time inventory feed. Rawkology rechecks availability before fulfilment. If an item is unavailable, materially changed, or cannot be matched to the listing, the order is cancelled and fully refunded. We do not treat an old source snapshot as proof of current stock.
Product and listing quality control
- Title, material, dimensions, selected configuration and included components are compared with the source record.
- Listings that require a size, length or other unimplemented choice are paused.
- Images with seller logos, promotional overlays or watermarks are not eligible for Merchant Center.
- Customer reports, returns and repeated fulfilment discrepancies are reviewed and may cause a product to be paused.
Units are received into the Hong Kong warehouse and checked against the order before dispatch, but Rawkology does not carry out a full technical or authenticity inspection of every unit. We do not imply a physical inspection that did not occur. Contact support@rawkology.com with the product URL if you need clarification before ordering.
